For the second year in a row, the special format of the December Character Counts assembly has been an event that the students look forward to for weeks in advance. It is so anticipated and so thoroughly enjoyed by everyone that it has become a Putnam County Elementary School tradition in only two short years.  The assembly’s presentation in an extraordinary visual and auditory production! Mrs. Peterson, Mr. Schmidt, and the fourth grade team create a PowerPoint presentation worthy of the Sundance Film Festival. This creation is an exhaustive compilation of photo images catching students and staff at work and at play and is accompanied by a soundtrack medley of music chosen especially for the students.  Cheers, laughter, and applause erupt throughout the program.
