- 9th Annual Cruise-In Car Show
- Hennepin’s ninth annual Independence Day Cruise-In will be noon-4 PM Wednesday, July 4 at Ernie Bassi Park on High Street. Cars, trucks, motorcycles and vintage tractors are welcome and trophies will be awarded in several categories. The first 25 entries will receive a free 50/50 ticket and the first 100 will receive a dash plaque. Thirteen trophies will be given. A D.J. will be playing 50’s – 60’s music and food and beverages will be available for purchase. For further information, contact Rodger Brandstatter at 925-7086 or Drew at 878-5823.
- Bags Tournament
- Registration for this year's bags tournament in Hennepin begins at 11:00 AM with the game beginning at 12:30 PM. There will be a 100% pay out for first, second and third place. Grab a partner and plan on playing bags this 4th!!
- Water Fight
- Hennepin Fire and Rescue will be having water fights for children ages 5-12 at Third Street on July 4. Registration begins at noon for the following age groups: 5-6; 7-8; 9-10 and 11-12. Water fights will start at 12:30 PM and participants will receive a gift. Kids, come out and have fun soaking your friends with the firemen.
- Katie & the Minors
- Plan on coming to Hennepin on July 4th and listen to Katie and the Minors perform from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
- Panteras/Little Panteras
- At the upcoming Hennepin July 4th celebration the Little Panteras will perform at 4:30 in front of the stage. Girls K-8th grade will perform a dance routine that they will be learning at their upcoming dance clinics. Afterwards, watch the 2012/2013 Panteras as they debut their new team.
