Movin' for Music July 4
The Putnam County School Music Boosters will be holding its annual fundraiser on July 4 at the Hennepin Pool.
Movin’ for Music is a 5K walk/run which starts at 8 a.m. July 4. To pre-register before June 30, participants can find online registration forms and information at www.pcschools535.org or www.starvedrockrunners.org.
Team awards for the event will include the fastest team and the most patriotic team. Individuals can enter in early registration for $20 or for $25 on race day. Teams of five can enter early for $75 or for $100 on race day. Starting point for the race is the Hennepin Park District Pool. Packet pickup and registration are open starting at 6:30 a.m.
The race course is described as relatively flat. The race will be held rain or shine.
The second part of the fundraiser is the annual music boosters pancake and sausage breakfast held from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Hennepin Pool Community room.
