Marshall-Putnam ‘Barn In The U.S.A. Fair’ Hunt

The Marshall-Putnam “Barn In The U.S.A. Fair” will have a clay barn hunt prior to the opening of the annual fair, July 8-12.

The hunt will begin July 1 in the community parks in Marshall and Putnam counties. The clay barn is marked M-P Fair 2015 and will be hidden in the parks listed.

If the barn is found, take it to the fair office during the fair, July 8-12, and $10 in fair bucks will be awarded to the recipient to spend on the fairgrounds. Each person who returns a barn will have their name entered in a drawing for a $25 prize. This drawing will be held Sunday, the last day of the fair. The contest is open to everyone.

Barns are hidden in the following parks: Henry Stoner Park, Lacon Johnson Park, Putnam Park and Lake Thunderbird, Varna at the Pavilion, Toluca at the swimming pool area, Washburn at the ball diamond, La Rose Bennington Park, Magnolia Ruby Peterson Memorial Park, McNabb Coleman Memorial Park, Standard Standard Park, Granville Hopkins Park, Hennepin Walter Durley Boyle Community Park, Mark Allfonso Mazzini Memorial Park, Wenona Community Park and Sparland Frank Park.
